We suggest you book custom invitations three months before you have to send them out. Whether you’re sending out save the dates and/or invitations, make sure to reserve enough time. Don’t forget to add on an additional two weeks for calligraphy guest addressing, if you’re interested in that as well!
STEP 1: ESTIMATE AND CONTRACT
Once you fill out the custom invitation questionnaire, I will send you a detailed quote/proposal tailored to your vision and budget. Once all the details of your customized package are all squared away, an outline of our expected design timeline will be shared with you through a personalized client portal.
STEP 2: INSPIRATION
We create your very own custom mood board and/or pinterest board together that will reflect your color palette, and design aesthetic, and we’ll work on the appropriate wording and calligraphy style. And then, we do what we do best - we create a custom suite design just for you!
STEP 3: PROOFS + REVISIONS
You’ll receive an inked proof presentation of your invitation artwork and details so we can make sure you love it 100% before I start the painting process. Once you approve the sketch, I paint your custom stationery, and you’ll receive the all the beautiful watercolor proofs for printing approval. We will then do any revisions necessary to refine the design and wording.
STEP 4: FINAL PROOF + ASSEMBLY
Once we’ve taken care of any tweaks and ensured that every detail is perfect, with your sign-off, all our final files are sent to print! Then, I work on all things assembly - envelope calligraphy, custom stamps, wax seals and all the other fabulous things we dreamed up.
STEP 5: MAILING
Your beautiful invitations will be weighed and mailed off, and will arrive in your guests’ mailboxes.
